What Classes do you teach?
We offer Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba.
Do I need any prior dance experience to join?
No prior experience is necessary! Our classes cater to all skill levels from absolute beginners to advanced dancers.
How do I sign up for classes?
You can sign up for classes through our website or by contacting us directly via phone, email or DM us on our Instagram or Facebook.
Are your classes suitable for all ages?
Currently our classes are only open to dancers over the age of 18.
Can I try a class before signing up for a course?
Every few months we have a free taster classes that you can trial out. In the mean time you are welcome to come to a weekly social to meet the teacher, students and to find out what dance styles you enjoy the most from Salsa, Bachata and/or Kizomba.
What should I wear to class?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement and makes you feel confident. For footwear, we recommend shoes with smooth, non-grippy soles that won't stick to the floor (or socks are acceptable). Avoid wearing flip-flops or shoes with heavy tread.
Do I need to bring a partner to attend classes?
No partner is required. We rotate partners during classes to ensure everyone has the opportunity to dance with different people and improve their skills. If you come as a couple - you are welcome to dance together through the classes.
How long does it take to learn a new dance style?
The time it takes to learn a new dance style varies depending on individual dedication and practice. Our structured courses are designed to help you progress to intermediate level within 6 months of consistent social dancing and practice.
Can I attend classes if I have two left feet?
Absolutely! Our instructors are experienced in working with dancers of all abilities and our beginner classes are tailored to help even the most rhythmically challenged individuals find their groove.
I'm away for a few weeks - can I pay for specific lessons in the course
Our courses run for a fixed duration and they are designed to process from each hour for the 6 weeks - ensuring a consistent learning experience. Unfortunately, we don't offer the option to pay for individual lessons within the course as it creates an imbalance between leaders/follower numbers. However, we understand life happens so please contact us so we can help.
Are private lessons available?
Yes, we offer private lessons for individuals or couples looking for personalized instruction and accelerated learning.
