Meet the Team

Dan is a passionate dancer based in Cardiff, Wales, whose love for Latin dance ignited at a lively Latin party in 2017. Inspired by the confidence and freedom of the dancers, he delved into Cuban Salsa in 2019 and has since garnered valuable experience. His unwavering dedication and adoration for dance continue to fuel his mission to establish Cardiff as the premier destination for learning and enjoying dance.

Salsa/Bachata Teacher

Ruby is an accomplished dancer based in Cardiff, Wales, with 15 years of experience in Street Dance, Hip-hop and Commercial Dance, she has performed around the world in places such as Cyprus where she was invited again the next year. She honed her skills under the guidance of Jukebox Collective. Ruby has taught Street Dance and Commercial dance. In 2022 Ruby received extensive training in Cuban Salsa and Bachata which ignited her passion for Latin dance.

Aram’s passion for salsa began in 2008 when he started going to Cuban salsa classes in Cardiff. As his passion grew he travelled across the world and found his enthusiasm for dance in Cuba. This experience expanded his knowledge extensively and added "Musicality", the crucial dimension to his Salsa, Son and Rueda de Casino understanding and teaching skills. Since 2013 he has been sharing his knowledge with students and successfully teaching them the foundations, styling, musicality, and the confidence to create the most beautiful moves on the dance floor.

Kirsty loves to spread the joy that Kizomba brings to her, more importantly she provides a safe space, where everyone is free to express themselves and gain the confidence to show case their moves on the dance floor.

Jonathan was introduced to Kizomba in February 2022 after wanting to get out of his comfort zone and try something new. From his first steps at Kizomba No Pé a whole wonderful journey of dance and self discovery began. Jonathan has dedicated the past 2 years to learning from some of the best Kizomba teachers across the country and across the waters.

Fahid is a semi professional photographer and videographer who's passion is to create. When joining the dance community it was lacking quality in capturing what dancers produce. Fahid built upon his desire to create an immersive video that would showcase talent that students and artists produce.
